Oh my dear, been there, done that and bought the tee-shirt. Yes, I too travelled to the other side of the world. The "what next" question is one that I face from time to time ENDLESSLY. OK, my other side of the world was going to Australia on a spare $50 and an overnight bag, so I never had to tax myself too much physically. And I am 100 years older than you, but other than that, we're twins. What can I say? I figured it out, lost the plot, figured it out again, etc. You will too, and there's nothing anyone can say that will be the right answer. Unless, of course, someone does say the perfect thing and it resonates with you. You'll figure it out. It might just take a while.

Thank you for sharing this so beautifully. What if you rest and allow your brain work its magic on what is to come? It's counterintuitive to think that rest is productive, but in that space, anything is possible ❤️

Rest, and the spark to move forward will come. About a month ago when I did not listen to my body to rest, I got sick for a week and was forced to rest. But, it gave me time to not just get sleep but recharge my mind. Thinking of you, and hoping rest brings you the full tank.

Welcome back, Marie! Here's something to ponder while you hit reset. Energy is never created or destroyed, it only changes form. All that energy that you expended is out there now, Well done. Now let all your thoughts percolate as you yourself rejuvenate and that energy will form into something else amazing. Go with the flow. You have amazing stories to tell and I can't wait to read them❣️

Well, he didn’t die and he set the record so you definitely have it Marie 😊💪🏻 It’s pretty damn epic supporting someone during an event. A one day event is hard enough, let alone 6 weeks…

In the world full of "perfect, strong, beautiful, and successful people" everywhere online, people just like to read about struggles of other normal people. That makes us feel a little better about ourselves. I think your blog is exactly that. Not sure people come to your page to buy some course. I think we come to read about problems of a normal, down-to-earth girl. May be you need to Segway into offering psychotherapy sessions of a sort.

I really relate to this feeling, thank you for sharing! So many times, I’ve felt guilty for wanting to rest, for not reaching out to a friend to go out, for not always being “on.” And for plans not going as expected.

Lately, I’ve been trying to listen more to my body and be okay with slowing down. It’s about letting my mind take a break and allowing my body to lead. It doesn’t work all the time, but it’s a first step. You got this!

Oh, Marie. I really relate to this feeling. Do you think you also feel grief about the adventure being 'over'?

Either way, I think you've got the right approach: curiosity and rest. Sending you hugs ✨

You got this, Marie! (But also, REST!)

Of course you have "it" , but everyone needs rest at some point. No one can just keep going for ever and ever. That doesn't make you lazy or weak, that makes you a normal human being.
